This app packs a serious punch. Really love how much it offers in terms of stats, schedule, news, and MLS live (need separate subscription.) Only issue is that sometimes an article will re-load and put me back at that top for seemingly no reason. Especially bad on the analyst articles. Other than that it is pretty amazing

Everything matches including detailed per-match and per-player stats, lineups, previews. This app makes it easy to follow the MLS season. Some things left to desire in version 7.1: •Womens national team matches on the schedule! It makes just as much sense as including the mens national team matches. •A scroll-to-top function on Schedule & Scores by tapping the top center like seemingly every other iOS app that has scrollability, or the scroll-to-top arrows that are already elsewhere in the app.

Its easy to keep up on my favored DC team and so many other interesting highlights from around the league and beyond... its almost perfect.

The app works pretty good these days. The main issue is with streaming content. Like right now, match playback just always results in an error. Also, as others have noted, MLS Live is pretty much never available. They should drop that name since it is deceitful (or actually offer all matches via subscriptions to the app :)

Great resource to follow the league and watch out-of-market matches.

The 2014 version of this app was perfect. But every update it goes through it get WORSE AND WORSE. Buggy, glitchy, and highlights are terribly short AND NOW ADS! Theyre unskippable 15-30 second ads on EVERY VIDEO that you play that are annoying and repetitive. Yes the ads are relative to the mls and all but THE SAME ADS PLAY EVERYTIME! STOP!!

Ive had this app for two years, and I really like it. But the ads just started showing up on every page , and you cant get rid of them.

I only wish to be able to see the comments from ppl on the articles. Plz fix that and youll have a 5 star app from me.

Some things left to desire in version 7.0.1: Womens national team matches on the schedule! Individual matches in the schedule listing sized to fit 4 (or more) at once on a mobile display, just as it worked so well in versions 6.x, instead of 2 giant buttons and a ton of constant scrolling for the entire season. Perhaps live matches can be cycled to the top if having reasonably sized list items is too big (harhar) a request. It consumes an otherwise very useful giant block of space near the top to always display a huge box for the score and minute count while perusing a match. The box does not move at all when viewing a player and their match stats from Lineup, its just a tiny stationary square. Surely this and nearly everything else can be rendered smaller to fit more things on a mobile display (like the player stats flyout and generally as in versions 6.x). The side-scrolling section (preview, timeline, etc) within each match returned to a list like in versions 6.x where all 5 items are visible without more constant scrolling. Or at least keep boxscore, stats, and lineup to the left. While checking out the new design for the first time, the app has frozen more than once both times requiring navigation back to the match list to refresh throughout the match. Would like to see the schedule calendar start on Sunday like every other calendar in the US. Would like a scroll to top function by tapping the top center like seemingly every other iOS app that has scrollability, or the scroll to top arrows that were in versions 6.x (bottom right?) again to reduce the amount of manual scrolling now begged by having everything in the app appear as though it were the Jitterbug cell phone which is now over half as old as MLS and designed for 800-year-old people. Do you offer beta testing? Thanks for keeping the app free.

Broken app that made me miss the kickoff of the opening regular season game because the streaming service setup the wrong stream. The new layout is pretty bad too.

Pay money, have to send an email and wait for a human to respond days later if password lost. Pay money, works on iPhone, but Apple TV seems to think I dont have an account. Pay money, am blacked out of watching 90% of the games even those where both teams are a thousand miles away from me and the default is to show the score on games when youve only just allowed them to be viewed on MLS Live after 48 hour delay. Pay money, get less than HD streaming video quality and have to AirPlay it from the phone to the tv. Pay money, because its my only option to watch soccer. But resent it. This is sub par for a free service, must less a paid service.

The app is so busy trying to play an advertisement the actual video never ends up loading. Waste of time.

Very frustrating version of this app. Trying to keep up with scores in on-going matches requires scrolling through games from earlier in the week. Previous version only showed games for 1 day at a time, so following live games was easy.

The scores section is broken, it always jumps back to the top of the page when I scroll down. Even without that, the design is very ugly and cluttered. Things that were easy to access last year are now hidden behind tiny buttons, scrolling bars, or other unnecessary gizmos.

The latest version of the app is ok, but last years was better mostly because of the schedule and MLS Live. The new calendar just isnt as useful (why do we need a whole week showing at once instead of by day?). I really dislike that scores now show on MLS Live. If I am going to watch a condensed match I would prefer to not know the results ahead of time. If I want the score I can always find that in the regular schedule. Speaking of MLS Live, right now the condensed match playback is not working. Im guessing this will get fixed, but its disappointing to have thing not work on the first day of the season. Finally, some pages are buggy in that they keep reloading, which means you cant scroll to content below the fold.

Every time I try to view scores it says there are no games for that range of dates so I have to swipe back and forth for five minutes till it fixes itself. Also not a fan of the new format. Liked it better last year.

Half the time says "no matches scheduled for this week" and Im watching an mls match right now. Displaying the matches as a long list down and having to scroll back down to the end every time you leave a particular matchs info. This may be the most irritating update to this app yet.

App always auto scrolls to the top of the page a couple times whenever I scroll down on the scores page. Happens EVERY time I go to the scores page. Also, unsure if this is an app issue but the extended highlights are nowhere to be found this year. One of my favorite features from last year. App can be a lot better. Hope these kinks can be worked out ASAP.

When you pay good money for something and it doesnt work you would be frustrated, no? What is the point of paying when you cant watch games (i.e. blackouts)!? Crazy, just crazy. Wouldnt be awesome if MLS showed the other national US leagues how to run a proper streaming service? Get rid of the blackouts. Come on! I will give them one star for the sweet MLS icon. It does look pretty good. ⚽️
